Foam Trailer

Foam Trailers

Trailers provide mobile fire protection for flammable liquid hazards typically found in such areas as refineries and associated tank farms, chemical processing plants, truck and rail car unloading facilities, and marine terminals.

This portable equipment is extremely mobile and substantially increases the firefighting capabilities of industrial, municipal and military fire departments.

Mulsifyre Spray Nozzle

F822S – F834S Mulsifyre Spray Nozzle

Features and Benefits:

• The Model F822S through F834S Mulsifyre Nozzles are open (nonautomatic) nozzles and they are designed for use in water spray fixed systems for fire protection applications where a high velocity water application may be required. The Mulsifiers are available in six different models that provide a wide range of orifice sizes and water distribution characteristics.
• The Mulsifyre Nozzles are internal scroll type nozzles and they discharge a uniformly filled cone of relatively high velocity water droplets. Although the Mulsifyre Nozzles are designed primarily for use in fire extinguishment and control, they can also be used for exposure protection.

MV Spray Nozzle

MV Spray Nozzle

Features and Benefits:

• MV Nozzles are open (non-automatic) directional spray nozzles designed for use in water spray fixed systems for fire protection applications.
• The MV Nozzles are effective in covering exposed vertical, horizontal, curved, and irregular shaped surfaces in a cooling spray to prevent excessive absorption of heat from an external fire and possible structural damage or spread of fire to the protected equipment.
• In some applications, depending on water design density requirements, the Type MV Nozzles may also be used for fire control or extinguishment.
• They are external deflector-type nozzles that discharge a uniformly filled cone of medium velocity water droplets.

Ansul Bladder Tank

Bladder Tank

Bladder Tanks are a component of a balanced pressure proportioning system that includes a pressure-rated tank with an internal elastomeric bladder for foam concentrate storage.

Upon system actuation, incoming water applies pressure to the concentrate in the bladder, which supplies pressurized concentrate to the proportioning device.

The device meters the foam concentrate into the fire water line, creating foam solution. The solution is then piped to the discharge devices protecting the hazard area.

Balanced Pressure Pump Proportioning System

Balanced Pressure Pump Proportioning System

The Balanced Pressure Pump Proportioning System functions by maintaining an equal pressure in the foam concentrate and water inlets to the proportioner, allowing the proportioner to be used over a wide range of flows and pressures.

The system connects to an atmospheric storage tank which allows refilling during operation. Controls respond quickly and accurately to changes in the water inlet pressures and flow rates.
